Vinyasa+ Workshops

Whether you have been practicing Vinyasa+ or curious to attend, this workshop will give you confidence and skills with some of the more complex yoga postures from both the Ashtanga Vinyasa tradition and the Advanced Bikram Yoga series.
Each workshop will include a flow practice to warm the body and plenty of time with each target posture to learn and attempt from different angles and with multiple variations and modifications.
​MEMBER/SLIDING-FEE RATE: $20
REGULAR RATE: $25
Saturday, May 18th 2-4:30pm This workshop will focus on: The basics, beginner to advanced. Sun salutations, chaturanga, downward facing dog, and more. Revisit and refine your alignment of the most often repeated poses in your yoga practice.

 In Joyful Yoga, we laugh as a form of exercise in a group to cultivate joy, gratitude and healthy relationships. A combination of movement and laughter exercises with yoga breathing and relaxation techniques.

Journey Through the Chakras

​A multi-workshop experience  -  you will learn about the seven energetic centers that exist along your central axis, also known as the Chakras. Come and explore practices that support body-mind-spirit balance and the expression of your best self.
 Each workshop includes breath work, postures, chanting and a guided meditation specific to the chakra.
Muladhara (root chakra)

Establish the foundation of your spiritual development with practices that balance your root chakra
When we feel safe and secure even at an unconscious level, our anxieties are soothed and very little can disrupt our sense of well being

Svadhisthana (sacral chakra)
 
Embrace the healing gift of play and enjoyment; open up with creativity with practices to stimulate your sacral chakraWhen Svadhisthana is out of balance we may experience emotional instability, jealousy or depression



Manipura (solar plexus chakra)
Activate your surya (sun) chakra for self-confidence, self-assurance and wisdom. This fire center helps to digest life experiences, extracts the benefits and burns off the residue bringing clarity, vitality, balance and strength
 When Manipura is out of balance you might experience low self-esteem, distorted self-image, diminished sense of belonging and difficulty setting personal boundaries
